We have been manufacturing cosmetic products since 1987. We are a second-generation family business, completely independent (own capital), driven by a passion for improvement — a passion that is shared by the entire VIOKOX team. Over the past 10 years our business has grown fivefold and we have adopted the most cutting-edge technology in the cosmetics industry. All our production is centralised in a single plant in Spain, covering 14,000 m2, which allows us complete control of the process and to be able to offer our customers the highest standards of safety and quality.

A fire broke out in February of the same year in which VIOKOX was celebrating its 30th anniversary, destroying our main production lines and facilities. However, in record time, VIOKOX managed to guarantee supply and to acquire new, more spacious facilities equipped with the most cutting-edge technology.

A fourth strip production line was added, equipped with the most advanced packaging machine in the world, specially customised for VIOKOX. IFS HPC certification (note: 98.4 / 100)
The production lines for hair removal products are expanded and two new hair removal strip production lines are acquired. VIOKOX becomes the second largest company in the manufacture of strips at international level and the leader in Europe for the manufacture of hair removal creams.
Jose López and Eduardo López now own the entire shareholding of Viokox. They decide to focus on boosting exports by incorporating more talent into the export department and initiating agreements with free agents to represent us in specific markets.
Vertical integration of the packaging supplier of the hair removal strips, for which the production facilities are expanded and a strip production line is acquired.
The company continues to specialise in niche product families and launches a complete range of footcare products.
The production facilities are refurbished to comply with GMPs. The facilities become a reference for innovation and process quality in the hair removal sector and the cosmetics sector in general. Productive capacity is tripled and storage capacity doubled. Manufacturing begins on the hair removal brands of some of the largest mass distribution companies in France.
Continuing with the policy of focusing on niche products, a complete intimate hygiene range is launched.
The company decides to specialise in niche product families, moving away from mass products. They begin with wax products, given their extensive experience in this area.
The export department opens, professionalising the export activity. The company obtains ISO 9001 certification.
It is decided to start manufacturing for third parties with a leading brand in a European market and for a mass distribution distributor in Spain. This same year, one of the three partners sold their shareholding to the other two partners.
The company begins to export. Their first export market is Greece.
New products are added to the Body Natur portfolio: hand creams, cold gel for feet and legs, anti-cellulite and exfoliation treatments, anti-spot and anti-hardness creams.
The Body Natur brand is created as an umbrella brand for the company’s various products. Body Natur debuts with hygiene products (shampoos and bath gels).
The VIOKOX brand is created for hair products and the hair removal brand changes its name to VIOKOX.
In a small industrial warehouse, manufacturing begins on household and personal care products under the Kox brand. The manufacturing of the hair removal products is still outsourced, but increasingly more products are being finished at VIOKOX.
Product finishing begins on the ground floor of the premises of one of the partners.
Three partners set up the company. All partners occupied management positions in the commercial area in multinationals in the cosmetics sector. The partners divide their time between other commercial companies and VIOKOX. VIOKOX had no production facilities at the beginning, only a small warehouse for marketing, and had only two hair removal products that were manufactured externally under the Violet brand.
